We have a monthly project with a the guys over at Kiora Medical Spas. We provide them with SEO focused articles and submit them to major article repositories. One of the things we like to do is check upon how often particular key phrases pull traffic.
We found it quite amusing that the key phrase “Brazilian waxing” has generated more SERP hits than any other. One must wonder why these people are using this particular search term, are they trying to find a salon that performs the service? Or are they looking for something else? After all, they do say that a high percentage of internet traffic is adult related, and that the internet is the worlds largest pornography resource.

We have recently completed a project which involved writing reviews for some on-line casinos. The client specified which ones, then supplied us with accounts, each of which had $50 of funds deposited, for our copywriting team to use as test money. They told us that if any of the writers won anything, they could keep it.
Much to our amazement, one of our team actually walked away from a casino with over $200 in the bank! He tells us that he discovered a Tomb Raider video slot, and being a big fan of Lara Croft decided to give it a spin (bad pun). Lara was nice enough to gift him with a jackpot! This netted him more cash than the actual review writing did! Good luck to him, and thanks to a great client for allowing him to keep it.

We have recently completed a two month project for a client, over this time period we produced one SEO focused article and one press release per day. These we submitted to the major article repositories and press release syndication sites.
Because we were performing this task slowly, across a two month time span, we were able to monitor the effects of this campaign in great detail. The results of our analysis would seem to support our opinion, that a combined article submission and press release campaign, is the optimum way to both build link popularity and generate traffic at the same time.
We witnessed plenty of new back-links emerge for the client site in question, along with lots of web traffic with the published article and press release pages as the referring URL. We have asked the client to monitor both traffic and back-links over the coming months and inform us of how things progress.

We have just won a project to supply upward of 5000 words per day to a major resource site (we have been asked to keep the site name under wraps for the time being). This is a fine catch for us, as it allows our copywriting team to display their real talent. Most of our copywriting work tends to be very SEO targeted, usually key phrase driven, and used to drive traffic to a specific website using certain search terms.
This particular contract is very different. Each of the pieces has to be researched thoroughly before being produced, as everything must be factually correct and will be used as content for an on-line encyclopedia. The writers involved in this project are pleased to be allowed to produce quality work, without keyword density restrictions being in place.

Much to our embarrassment, our own website had been offline for quite some time. This was due to an ever increasing workload, which meant we were unable to apply any resources to the re-development of our own site.
Earlier this month we decided this would just not do, so we pulled a few extra shifts and put together our new site. We were aiming for something that looked good, but without an over technical feel, this was to represent our evolution as both web developers and content creators.
We are pleased with the results, nice and simple, easy to navigate, yet pleasing to the eye.
